How do I change my details?

You will be able to change your details, e.g. your mobile number by going to ‘Update my profile’ on the Astron Energy Rewards mobile app, found on Google Play Store and Apple App Store or via the website (www.astronenergy.co.za/rewards) or our WhatsApp line on 079 251 3467


Can a family register as a group?

No, you have to register individually. Only dependents over 18 years can be registered individually.


Can only South African ID holders enter?

No, anyone can enter the Astron Energy Rewards campaign.

If you are a UCount member you need to have a South African ID number or passport number.


Is there a minimum age to register for the campaign?

Yes, you have to be 18 years old.


What information is required to register?

Name, surname, mobile number, DOB, gender, predominant fuel usage, Email address (optional), South African ID number (if you are a UCount member).

You will need to provide consent for Astron Energy to communicate with you via Email or SMS.


How do the Astron Energy Rewards work?

Astron Energy Rewards is a surprise and delight voucher campaign whereby registered loyalty members stand a chance to be rewarded and earn vouchers when filling up at an Astron Energy forecourt. Customers who register to become Astron Energy

Rewards members also stand a chance to be randomly rewarded with a monthly reward. Customers will be required to register once-off for Astron Energy Rewards and use their mobile number as an entry mechanism.


Are there different options available for me to register?

You can register for Astron Energy Rewards via the Astron Energy Rewards mobile app found on Google Play Store or Apple App Store, or using our website www.astronenergy.co.za/rewards, or by dialling our USSD code *134*4376# or by messaging our WhatsApp line on 079 251 3467.


Can I de-register myself?

On the App: Open your profile, tap on “Profile”, then select “Remove Profile.”

On the Website: Click on your name at the top, go to “Account” in the top right corner, then select “Deregister” on the left menu


Can I register again if I have de-registered?

Yes, you can re-register for Astron Energy Rewards via the Astron Energy Rewards mobile app found on Google Play Store or Apple App Store.


How do I know if I have earned a voucher?

You will receive an SMS notifying you that you have earned a reward.

You will also be able to see vouchers earned in the ‘My Rewards’ section when you log in to the Astron Energy Rewards website or on the Astron Energy mobile app.


What do I need to do to receive a reward?

You need to register for Astron Energy Rewards with your mobile number. You need to enter your mobile number each time you purchase fuel at any participating Astron Energy forecourt

No you cannot, but you may gift your voucher to a friend.


Do I stand a chance to earn vouchers if I have used my Astron Energy Fleet Card to pay for my fuel?

Yes, you can earn a voucher. The only restriction is that you cannot redeem a fuel voucher if you pay with an Astron Energy Fleet Card.


Can I redeem a fuel voucher when I pay with an Astron Energy Fleet Card?

No, you cannot. You will have to redeem your voucher with a different payment method e.g. with a credit card, debit card or cash.


Can I use my voucher as part of a payment? For example, I have won a R25 convenience store voucher, but I want to purchase a R50 item.

Yes, you can use your voucher and then pay the balance with cash or your credit/debit card.


What are the chances of being rewarded with a voucher?

First, ensure that you are registered for Astron Energy Rewards, enter your registered mobile number every time you fill up with fuel. The more you fill up at an Astron Energy forecourt, the better your chances of winning a voucher.

There is no guarantee, as it is randomised, but if you are a member, your chances are higher.


Will I be rewarded with a voucher if I purchased lubricants?

No. You only get rewarded if you purchased fuel.


How long is the reward valid before it expires?

Each voucher has different validity dates. Each voucher will have an expiry date.

A reminder will be sent via SMS to notify you before the voucher expires.


What happens if I lose the SMS with my voucher information?

We will load the voucher on your profile. You can go to the ‘My Rewards’ section on the mobile app, on the Astron Energy Rewards site, or access it via USSD or WhatsApp.

No, you can only redeem at a FreshStop at an Astron Energy forecourt.

Primarily for fraudulent activity. If someone pretends to be a customer service attendant and regularly inputs their mobile number for every fuel entry, a report will pick up excessive use of a mobile number, so it will then be suspended


What happens to my vouchers after my account has been suspended?

Vouchers will also be suspended.


If my voucher is declared invalid and it has not been redeemed already, can an Astron Energy call centre agent unblock or re-issue a new voucher?

Yes, if the voucher is valid and the campaign is still active, the Call Centre Agent can attempt to reissue voucher within 48hrs.
