Driving its bold journey to become South Africa’s next biggest fuel brand

Astron Energy has reached a major milestone in its transformation journey with the unveiling of its 600th rebranded service station in Westville North, KwaZulu-Natal. This achievement reflects the company’s continued momentum as it rolls out its refreshed identity across more than 800 sites nationwide.

“Every station we rebrand is designed around what South Africans value most,” said John Bailey, Retail and Marketing General Manager at Astron Energy. “A clean, modern space, friendly service, and the confidence of choosing a brand that understands their needs. Our goal is to make every visit to an Astron Energy forecourt feel like a positive part of our customers’ day.”

Adding to the celebration, the station has been named Best Fuel Filling Station and Best Car Wash in the Best of Durban 2025 Awards for the second consecutive year. Voted entirely by the public, these awards recognise the station’s outstanding service and the loyalty it has built among local motorists.

With 600 rebranded sites now complete, Astron Energy continues its mission to become South Africa’s next biggest fuel brand and is well on its way to reaching the next milestone of 700 rebranded service stations.
